Cube ›

Cube was designed with 3D rendering software and built to emulate the initial concept. The aim of this sculpture was to portray an abundance of positive and negative space. Materials included regular scrap wood that was sanded and primed to a finish.

Curve ›

One block of balsa wood formed the curved sculpture piece. Each shape was created by cutting a balsa wood block with a band saw. The pieces were then smoothed and primed to a finish. This sculpture is referred to as a two cut form study because there were only two cuts made into the wood block.

Ideas Expressed Through Form
