I stumbled upon a website concerning Leonardo da Vinci during one of my daily surfing sessions. The site looks pretty informative, but I haven’t really ventured past the homepage. This page in particular is a bit different from the rest.
Take a look for yourself and pay special attention to the eyes in the sketch of Leonardo da Vinci. The eye effect is pretty sweet, but gets creepy and annoying if you stay on the page too long.
It looks like Mona Lisa didn’t want to be left out of the action either. For some reason I don’t remember her wearing a flip down media visor thingamabob in her portrait.
The best thing about this post is that I learned that thingamabob is a real word. Dictionary.com provides the following definition for thingamabob; a thingamajig. Who would have thought that a thingamabob and a thingamajig were one and the same?
